Custom Unit ID helmet shields are handmade, built out of two 8/9oz. pieces veg-tan leather putting them close to 20oz. Made to last! They are reinforced with a brass strip on the back to keep whichever bend you desire. Our shields come standard with the Old English style font. If you would like something different please put that in the notes and we will contact you.
SIZE - Our shields almost any traditional american fire helmet. Ex. Phenix TL2, Cairns, MSA.. etc.They are approx 6 inches tall. Refer to our sizing guide.
MOUNTING HOLES - Shields will NOT come with holes drilled due to all the differences between helmets, you will have to drill mounting holes to the distance your helmet takes. Please see our mounting guide!
